More world stars come to the popular Hungarian festival
New performers were announced by the organisers of Balaton Sound on Thursday morning. This year’s event, which will run from 28 June to 1 July, will be hosting some of the biggest names in the world, including Tiësto, Blasterjaxx and Regard.
In 2023, a new era will begin in the life of Balaton Sound, according to the latest announcement by the organisers. According to hvg.hu, EDM (electronic dance music) stars will continue to take turns on the main stage at this year’s Balaton Sound. Alongside the previously announced names such as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, KSHMR and Don Diablo, new acts are now arriving. Joel Corry has already been joined by Alle Farben and Riton in the official Afterparty section of the stage. Tiësto, for example, now completes the list of headliners for the main stagealong with Blasterjaxx and Regard, said Anna Filutás, project manager of Balaton Sound.
In addition to EDM stars, the organisers are keen to bring together the best of the underground, techno and many other genres of electronic music in Zamárdi, making the festival even more exciting and colourful.
“With last year’s return, we ended the bad covid era and were happy to finally be together again. In 2023, however, a new era begins in the life of Balaton Sound. This can be seen in the music that has been released so far, but it will also be seen in the venues and the daytime programme,”
said Anna Filutás, according to refresher.hu. A new venue will also be added to this year’s Sound line-up, with iconic party brands taking turns on the Dreher stage every day after the main stage events. “Sound’s international reputation is demonstrated by the fact that this year, nearly 20 global stars from the DJ MAG Top 100 list said yes to our invitation,” she added.
